Keep track of deposits and balances
Take deposits by card and spread the balance across agreed dates. With Kling you have an overview of each traveller's payment status and need less time for payment admin.
Common challenges today
These are examples of what many people deal with before they start using Kling.
You have to check whether the payment arrived before confirming a booking
The booking arrives by email and the deposit as a bank transfer. You have to find the payment on the bank statement and match it to the right booking.
Final payments need manual follow-up
You have to watch the due dates, check whether the payments have arrived and remind travellers about unpaid balances.
Guests from abroad want to pay by card
International transfers can take time and add effort. Guests want to pay the deposit by card when they book.
How Kling works in travel
Take the deposit and schedule the balance
Send the traveller a payment link for the deposit, or publish the link on your website. That way both Icelandic and international guests can pay by card.
For the balance you send a second payment link on the agreed date, or a claim in their online banking, and follow the payment status in Kling. A subscription runs until someone cancels it, so it does not suit a trip that is paid off in a set number of instalments.
With Events you can keep track of the number of seats and the registered participants on group trips.
Already using a booking system? Kling can be connected to other systems through the API. Get in touch and we will look at how payments can be connected to your booking flow.

Jökull Sólberg
Developer, Trip to Japan
It was really simple to set up. I read the docs, connected the API to our booking flow, and we started accepting payments within a few days. This is the payment solution Iceland has been missing, designed exactly the way developers want to work.
